From there I started. Very good parking right under / next to the viaduct.

On the one hand the dream path starts here and you can also park your car safely here, not immediately visible from the street

Here you can park well to explore the Trass caves.
Or start hiking right from here, no matter which direction
July 12, 2020
You can park here for free.
From the parking lot you can also start a nice round towards Wolfsschlucht.
August 31, 2020
A nice historical bridge before / after the tunnel.
With a bit of luck you can also see the 🚂 Vulkan-Express steam train on this route.
July 24, 2021
On the climb to the Teufelsberg there is still a nice vantage point on the viaduct. Along the bend, another path leads directly to the Trasshöhlen.
Really nice there.

Very nice building. At the tunnel entrance near the trass caves, however, construction is currently underway, so the train cannot be seen here at the moment.
March 28, 2021
Easy parking and starting point of the tour
March 30, 2020
Small space under the viaduct with storage space. Right next to the trass caves.

With a bit of luck you can see the Brohltalbahn here 🚂
July 12, 2021
Very impressive how the train drives out of the tunnel onto the bridge.

With a bit of luck you can see the steam locomotive of the Brohl Valley Railway 🚂
July 11, 2021
Very suitable as a stopover. Architecture and pictures lovers get their money's worth
December 31, 2021
One wishes that at this moment an old steam train drives over the bridge.

From time to time the Vulkan Express crosses the viaduct. 😊
October 4, 2022
Here the Vulkanexpress of the Brohltaler narrow-gauge railway steams over the viaduct and through the railway tunnel. The narrow-gauge railways have to cope with 400 vertical meters between the Rhine and the Eifel. The exit point for the Trass cave hike is Bad Tönnisstein train station. The train commutes between Brohltal on the Rhine and Engeln in the Eifel.

This meadow is not a parking lot and is only used by lazy tourists. Go straight to the Trass caves. The floor is very happy about the masses of cars ...
August 14, 2020
The mighty, approx. 120 meter long viaduct of the Brohltalbahn offers an imposing sight.
