The architecture of the school is remarkable. Its rectangular floor plan and the extension on the east side give it a unique appearance. The transverse block walls divide the building into three sections. The foundations made of stone masonry and the walls made of hewn tree trunks that were assembled into beams testify to the craftsmanship of the builders. The half-timbered roof, originally shingled and later covered with slate, and the use of wooden dowels in all structures are characteristic of the construction of this period.
