One of these early industrial companies was the Drießen spinning mill. Today, however, all that remains of this factory is the chimney, which was restored in 1982. This octagonal, banded chimney standing on a square base with the impressively formed
Kaminkopf was built around 1857 and is one of the last fully preserved early examples of its time in Westphalia.
