Apparently, it only consisted of a piece of paper, in a document from Emperor Charles IV dated May 7, 1359, which allowed Count Palatine Ruprecht I “to build a fortress on the stone in dem Bruch, two miles from Lautern, which Kaisersgrund should be called, and to own such as imperial fiefs.” In 1959, Christmann was able to identify the location with the rock called “Lutherkanzel” near the Moordamm mill.
