Turó del Carmel or Turó d'en Móra is a 289-meter mountain in the municipality of Barcelona, [2] [3] in the Barcelonès region. It was formerly known as Turó d'en Móra, referring to Can Móra, which was where the Coll district is today. The current name of the hill comes from the name of the sanctuary located on the eastern slope, built in the mid-nineteenth century. In 1875, construction began on the first turrets on the hill, and over time they originated in the Carmel neighborhood.
