The Carmel Hill is one of those that will have to be incorporated into the future Tres Turons Park, along with the Rovira Hill and the Creueta del Coll Hill. It has a north-west orientation and one of the best 360º views of Barcelona.

Many of the residents know it by the name of the Naked Mountain, given the general lack of trees, except for a few scattered feet of olive, almond and carob trees. These isolated trees are the witnesses of an agricultural past not so distant in time.

The dominant vegetation is the same that we find in the deforested areas of Collserola, with grasslands like meadows, with a greater or lesser degree of degradation.

On the frequent thistles there is an abundant presence of the Migratory thistle butterfly (Vanesa cardui). The Nerved Pixaví (Sympetrum fonscolombii), a very common dragonfly in Catalonia, has also been observed.
