The citizens of Hall probably chose the name "Kaffeemühle" for two reasons for the nickname of the pavilion. On the one hand, the shape of the building is unmistakably similar to a small coffee grinder, on the other hand, the gardener's house was for a while the taproom for the Sunday coffee of the citizens of Hall, naturally combined with a rise to the "coffee grinder".
