Hiking

In the past, Gottmannsgrün was a lively and sprawling village. About 900 people lived here from agriculture, weaving, mother-of-pearl and other crafts. The rapid decline of the settlement followed the expulsion of the German population after 1945. In the 1950s, most of the houses were demolished because of their proximity to the border strip. Only the school remained until the mid-1960s.

The vanished village of Trojmezi (Gottmannsgrün) is once again a memorial to the preservation of peace. There is only this tablet and the memory of the fallen people of a meaningless war. Further up a few weekend cottages and that was already Gottmannsgrün
