The view of Ronda from the plain is breathtaking and one of the most impressive panoramic motifs in Andalusia. From the flat plain below the city, Ronda appears as a spectacularly situated collection of whitewashed buildings, located on a high plateau and crossed by the dramatic gorge of the Tajo de Ronda. Ronda literally sits on the steep cliffs and almost seems to be interwoven with the landscape. Particularly striking is the Puente Nuevo (New Bridge), which connects the two parts of the city across the deep gorge. From the valley, the bridge appears monumental and shows the engineering skills of the 18th century.

Due to its location and dramatic appearance, Ronda has always been an inspiring place and the setting for numerous stories and legends. This mysticism can be felt from a distance when you see the city like an impregnable fortress on the rocky plateau. This sight stays in your memory! 🚴‍♀️
