    If you visit in the winter time, the stones are most likely to be under water, but there's another permanent crossing just a km or so up the river at Linton Falls

      Lovely beach area next to the river wharfe, with stepping stones which if the water is low enough - provide a way to get over the river, from there you can get to Hebden or Grassington.

        Please note: the path over the Stepping Stones shown by Komoot can only be used when the water level of the River Wharfe is low. At the moment (June 24) the river is carrying so much water due to the heavy rain that you have to take the path over Linton Bridge!
