This 80-ton anchor was found by the Norddeich fisherman
Harm Eilers in the autumn of 1974.
It could only be recovered with two cutters.
The anchor comes from a 7000-ton wooden steamer that ran aground off the North Sea island of Juist in 1934.
The anchor is located between the guest house and the numerous bicycle parking spaces on the beach.

A treasure trove that belongs here in the harbor and beach area.
