Took the 2-seater chairlift to the starting point.

After the first 200m, it's better to follow the official hiking trail as it gets slippery and steep uphill.

Otherwise, the Moselsteig trail guidance is very nice with frequent views of the Mosel river as well as Cochem (at the start) and Klotten (at the end) of the tour.
