In 1994, the Feldbachtal was designated as a 105-hectare nature reserve. The structurally rich nature reserve consists of various open areas, such as wet meadows, wet pastures, fat pastures, wet fallow land, fallow lean grassland and the Feldbach with its various biotope types, as well as various forest plots. The predominant part is cultivated as spruce or mixed spruce forest. The area marked on the map represents a section of the entire nature reserve, which represents a forest complex made up of beech forest, oak forest and mixed beech-oak forest. In this area there are many multi-stem beeches, oaks and hornbeams, which arose from the former coppice farming.
