Best Road Cycling Rides to Gravel Path at the Rein-Balding Border Crossing

Tips

  • The path is actually borderline and more recommended for wide tires. Anyone who has control of their RR can still go downhill here at a moderate pace. It is advisable to drive on the edge of the meadow instead of the stony path. Ultimately, it is only about 300 meters that can also be pushed (especially uphill). The landscape and the rest of the way to Falkenau definitely make up for it. Especially worthwhile if you want to bypass Cinnovec or Petrovice.

  • Gravel path across the border. Borderline with the road bike. Goes though. Shortest and most direct way to Mückentürmchen coming from the north.

  • With the view on the Mückentürmchen over the border (only for bicycle and pedestrian).
