The former main railway station in Belgrade was built in the years 1881-1884 in the classical style. Train services were discontinued in 2018 and relocated to the new station. The tracks were pulled back to make way for the "Belgrade Waterfront City". A museum of Serbia's medieval history is to be set up in the station building.
