Hiking
The statue was created by sculptor Jean Culot, after a drawing by Bernard Paquot. Gugusse: Character symbolizing the Marchois spirit, in the "tower" that watches over the crossroads of the rampart. The character is mocking, sassy, patriotic, cheerful and outspoken. The statue is larger than the puppet and takes a comical pose: hand over his mouth, apologizing after letting go of a blunder like "Gross biesse di balouche quit'es", or embarrassed that we discovered the bottle he hides behind his back. Creation date: 2002
