The origin of this fortified castle dates back to the first half of the 13th century. It was equipped with an effective defensive device, consisting of a powerful keep and a double row of moats. It was transformed over time and gradually lost its defensive role. Heavily restored in the 19th century, it nevertheless retained a beautiful feudal aspect. On this 65 hectare private estate, the castle and its farm have nowadays become a hotel / restaurant as well as a place dedicated to event activities.
