Shadow Lakes are a series of beautiful alpine lakes tucked away in the shelter of Shadow Lake Peak along a spur trail. The trail to the lakes frames a stunning panoramic view of Massacre Mountain heading north. The Long Lost - Wet Creek Trail makes a difficult, steep climb to the east of the spur trail. It takes a more moderate route through Hell Canyon to the west.
