The Long Lost - Wet Creek Trail starts about a half mile north of the Loristica Group Campground at the end of an old logging road. It winds north up through fir and aspen until you reach the saddle and hike back down toward Big Creek. From there the trail sees a steep, difficult climb before passing Shadow Lakes. The trail gets easier as it drops into Hell Canyon and approaches Long Lost Creek.
