This monastery was built in 1946 and was inhabited until 1999 by the Fathers of the Sacred Hearts. It was intended as an internship for the final year priest students, after which most left for Zaire or Hawaii. Since 1999 it has been owned by the social housing company Limburgs Tehuis and has been repurposed as a social housing project.
