The Schiller House focuses on Friedrich Schiller's "Rudolstadt Summer" of 1788, a formative and happy period in his life during which he met Goethe and his future wife, Charlotte von Lengefeld. In the restored historical living quarters, the museum presents multimedia exhibitions and offers cultural events throughout the year, as well as an adjoining café with a garden.

There are very affordable combination tickets for the Schiller House, Heidecksburg Castle, and the Rudolstadt farmhouses. You don't have to visit all the sites on the same day. Each site is stamped individually, and the tickets remain valid until all are used.
