A worthwhile walk that runs from the second New Feldkirchner Gate on Heydeckstrasse directly in front of the Kavalier Heydeck over the moat area in front of the main wall of the fortress with the glacis in front of it and mine passages hidden underneath to the remains of the moat case on Rechbergstrasse. In a nice loop you can also pay a short visit to the cozy Wasserrose e.V. clubhouse in its impressive fortress location. But some underground rooms also belong to the Rechberg Front, which are now hidden in the main wall or under Rechbergstrasse and can be reached via the infantry gallery in the wall.
