    The Inn cycle path R3
The 520 km long Inn is one of the longest Alpine rivers and the most water-rich tributary of the Danube. It crosses three countries from its source near the Maloja Pass in Switzerland to where it flows into the Danube in Passau.

      Inn (river)
      Three countries - one river
The Inn connects the countries of Switzerland, Austria and Germany. It rises in the Swiss Engadin, flows through parts of Austria and Bavaria, and flows into the Danube near Passau. With over 26,000 square kilometers, its catchment area is the second largest in Austria.
Numerous settlements have developed along its course. The Inn is the central lifeline of these regions.

        Cycle path Landeck - Fernpass | R8
andeck - Zams - along the Via Claudia Augusta R8 or on the Inn Cycle Path R3 to Schönwies - Mils - Imst - through the Gurgltal to Nassereith and to the Fernpass (1,212 m)
From Landeck town center below Landeck Castle, the path leads along the Via Claudia Augusta or along the Inn Cycle Path via Perjen am Zammer Lochputz to Zams. A pedestrian bridge leads over the Inn and then below the historic Kronburg ruins on the paved cycle path via Schönwies and Mils to Imst. In Imst, the cycle path leads along the edge of the forest to Nassereith and up to the Fernpass.
ATTENTION: Inform yourself about current closures on the Fernpass. It is generally advisable to cross the Fernpasshöhe to Fernstein, e.g. by bus, since the road is very narrow and trucks can also be dangerous.
