Just like its perhaps more famous little sisters, the "Logis" and "Floréal" in Watermael-Boitsfort, the Terdelt estate, the one and only garden city in Schaerbeek, was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Their purpose was to respond to the housing crisis resulting from the First World War.With its narrow and convoluted streets and its small gardens in front, the structure of the district is intended to be friendly to promote exchanges between its inhabitants. A district that could not be more peaceful in the 6th most populated municipality in Belgium.
