The Devil's Chapel or Our Lady of the Consolation Chapel of Boeschepe.

Its history dates back to 1768 when a farmer, perhaps slightly drunk, reportedly came face to face with the devil around midnight. The farmer managed to escape and escaped unscathed. Another variant claims that the devil lived here and targeted a farmer who always had to pass this place in the evening. The farmer would be so frightened by this that he would always have to make a long detour to avoid this place.

Ultimately, the farmer decided to build a chapel on this site and place it under the protection of Our Lady. So it happened and the devil had no reaction from this.

The chapel is located not far from the Katsberg. Through the grille in the front door one sees a statue of Mary with a pale, frightened face.
