The Schievenviertel is an urban area of apartment buildings and workers' apartments for shaft 3/5 of the Graf Bismarck colliery. It consists of Alleestraße, Schievenstraße, Steigerstraße, Wetterweg and parts of Middelicher Straße. Many buildings from the beginning of 1910 are now listed. In my opinion, it's worth taking a look at the district with its sliding gate 🤩
