The pilgrimage church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Kleinenberg is a baroque gem on the outskirts of the old town. Inside it contains the miraculous image from around 1400 in baroque style, which a shepherd is said to have found at this point. It is the destination of pilgrims and pilgrimages to this day.

The pilgrimage church was built to worship the Mother of God. From here pilgrims go to the miraculous image in the Lourd Grotto, at the point where Mary is said to have appeared to a shepherd. The interior shows an elaborate design and the church is therefore definitely worth a visit! I don't know the opening hours, but it was open after 6 p.m. when I visited.
