Irgendwie fängt irgendwann irgendwo das Training an. Angesichts der geplanten Herausforderungen in den kommenden Wochen und Monaten war ich ganz dankbar, dass dieses Angebot bestand (zumal ich im Dezember ja nicht allzu aktiv war und Form abgebaut habe). Irgendwie war natürlich eine Wanderung, irgendwann der heutige Tag und irgendwo Wuppertal-Cronenberg, von wo es auf einem Rundweg durchs bergische Land ging. Und Höhenmeter waren gegeben. Genauso einiges an Schnee, etwas Matsch und ein paar ziemlich rutschige Stellen. Der Veranstalter hatte für zwei Verpflegungspunkte gesorgt, an denen es nicht nur Glühwein, sondern auch Tee, Kaltgetränke und Snacks gab. Zudem hätten im Anschluss Schwimmbad und Sauna genutzt werden können. Aber dann wäre es zu spät geworden. Die Strecke war nicht markiert, was zu kleineren Abweichungen führte, weil es einfach der Gruppe hinterher ging oder selbst kurzfristig der falsche Weg eingeschlagen wurde. So wurden aus geplanten 20,1 km 21,6 km. Höhepunkt war mit Sicherheit die imposante Müngstener Brücke.
