The focal point of the beach promenade is the architectural ensemble consisting of the Kurhaus (hotel), the spa square with pavilion, the pergolas and the foyers. Events, concerts and festivals take place on the spa square, which was created in 1937, from May to September. The spa square in Binz was named in honor of the spa house built in 1893. It offers a fantastic view of the sea, Sassnitz and the chalk coast as well as the Binz pier.
