The Sentier de la Transhumance (Transhumance Trail) follows a thousand-year-old path carved out by the shepherds of the Niolo region of Corsica. This path from the past lets you immerse yourself in the life of the shepherds of the past, who drove their animals up the mountains in accordance with the seasons. In winter they migrated to the willows on the coast. This event is called "Impiaghjera". The "Muntagnera", on the other hand, describes the ascent to the summer pastures in the mountains.
