The Ninglinspo stream flows between Vert-Buisson (municipality of Theux) and Sedoz-Nonceveux (municipality of Aywaille). The only torrent in Belgium meanders between large blocks of quartzite and forms so-called vats and baths with the poetic names: le Bain de Diane, le bain de la Loutre (otter), le Bain d'Hermes, le Bain des Naiades (nymphs, le boullion (or Cascade) de la Chaudière (Ninglinspo minor), le bain du Cerf (deer) or le bain de Venus.
All these names were chosen by Laurent-Francois DETHIER, a lawyer from Theux who played an active role in the Franchemont Revolution of 1789 and the Polleur Congress, and was a great lover of the place.
The Ninglinspo flows over a distance of almost 3 km, from 378 meters of altitude to 140 meters of altitude, a difference of 238 m and a gradient of 7.9%.
