The hike took about 60 mins for me but count on 60-90 mins one way. The Google Map Walk mode is accurate and I followed that. The visitor center also recommended it. It passes the Gergeti Cafe.

The Gergeti Trinity Church, (Georgian გერგეტის სამება; Gergetis Sameba) is a Georgian Orthodox church complex in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, Qazbegi Municipality.
The complex consists of a 14th-century domed church and bell tower, as well as a council building (Georgian საბჭეო), which was added to the southern wall of the main church in the 15th century.[1] The church has a rectangular floor plan. Its dome rests on the two free-standing columns to the west and the walls of the eastern apse. The facade and dome of the church are decorated with Georgian ornaments. The ornaments are also on the walls of the bell tower. The Gergeti Sameba Church was a main church of the historic Chewi Province. Just a little below the church there is a fountain that is used by visitors.
