Unfortunately, only the foundations of the mines have been preserved. About half of the incoming water was used at the V. light hole for the water wheel and the turbine, the rest of the water was routed to the IV. light hole via the artificial ditch. Past the lower mouth of the fifth light hole, the hiking trail continues along the artificial moat.

I don't think you should do the ditch tour by bike - the Felsenbrücke is for hikers and the ascent/descent to/from the Millennium Jump is very rocky. The 5th light hole is easy to reach as a detour from Kastanieallee via Fuchslöcherweg. You can also leave your bike halfway there and walk the rest of the way.

The V. Lichtloch is located on the "Grabentour" hiking trail in the Bobritzschtal. It was sunk to 91 m until 1849 and had a sponge jug turbine for promotion. The impact water was branched off via a ditch and rosette system from the Bobritzsch near the Wünschmannmühle in Krummenhennersdorf.
