Hiking

It is narrow, the mouth of the Trave. Everything that wants to go in or out has to pass through here, whether it's a fishing trawler, a pleasure boat or one of the numerous ferries that run from the various quays in Lübeck to the Baltic Sea neighbors, whether St. Petersburg, Kotka, Tallinn, Gotland or Trelleborg.
If you enjoy watching ships, this is the perfect place for you.

Hiking

In the summer months the passenger ferry runs constantly back and forth. You can come along for €1.40 and buy the ticket at the machine. The crossing is short but beautiful. You can go for a wonderful walk on the Priwall.
Update Jan. 2031: a crossing now costs €1.50. Still worth it.
