The Natura Trail leads through the "Südlicher Priwall" nature reserve. The Priwall is located directly at the mouth of the Trave in the Baltic Sea as the remainder of a spit hook, created from deposits of fine sand and gravel, which were transported here by the ocean currents from the steep banks of the Lübeck Bay. The southern part of the Priwall, together with an approx. 100 meter wide shallow water area in the Pötenitzer Wiek, forms the 149 hectare nature reserve.naturfreunde.de/natura-trail-rundweg-suedlicher-priwall
