Historical indication:
The Teatro Alfieri is a 19th-century theater and opera house on the outskirts of the city.
The theater was built in 1860 by order of the local counts Luigi and Giovanni Carli. The latter also assisted in the design along with Antonio Vittoni. It was originally dedicated to Vittorio Emanuele II, and it took its current name, in honor of the playwright Vittorio Alfieri, after the establishment of the republic after the war.
