For history buffs... At this location you can start the Red Walk and get acquainted with a solid piece of history. In the vicinity, at the Zeepeduinen and Slot Haamstede, you will find dozens of bunkers from the Second World War. Take the stairs up and get to know the Walvisbunker (Vleugelbunker). Once at the top you can't miss it. Many bats hibernate in the many bunkers, which you will also find next to the cycle path.
Get off and go along the Red walk (4 km) and discover this piece of history.
