Tips
Lyndhurst is known as the capital of the New Forest. Lots of cafés here, independent shops, pubs, museums and hotels. The High Street here is very picturesque and has a proper historical feel to it.

Here the exhausted hiker will find numerous places to stop for refreshments, otherwise nice little shops and even a Ferrari workshop. Unfortunately, the car traffic torments you along here, but a nice change. Many pseudo-Tudor and Victorian buildings
