Born from the passion of the Colornese collector Glauco Lombardi (1881-1970), the museum collects historical and artistic testimonials related to the ducal period of Parma in the 18th and 19th centuries, with a particular focus on the figure of Maria Luigia of Habsburg , both in her wife of Napoleon Bonaparte and Empress of the French, who was later Duchess of Parma, Piacenza and Guastalla.
