The Naval Memorial in Laboe is a memorial to sailors of all nations who remained at sea and a monument to peaceful seafaring on the open seas. The 72-meter-high tower of the memorial, which is considered a landmark of the Kiel Fjord, is particularly striking and visible from afar. The memorial ensemble also includes various exhibition spaces, both at the foot of the tower and throughout the site.
