The rain held off for this nice walk to Turf Moor stadium and the walk back to the car. We lost the game but it was a good day out all the same. Note. I forgot to pause navigation while at the stadium. It was only about 3.5 miles (2.5+1) total I believe

Parked at Premier Inn for £3. I met only one other person on the footpath to Ewood Park on a match day, lady walking her dog. I think I'm the only football supporter who enjoys a nice walk before the match 😄

A 3 mile circular walk started near The Dalton pub, to watch a match at The John Smith Stadium. 2 miles to the stadium, then 1 mile back to the start. The lovely autumnal walk through the Colne Valley was the highlight of the day. Which was just as well, the match was not great and the walk back to the car was very wet 😆

Country Park was a good walk, shame that the M5 passes through the middle of it. The east side is quieter. I'll probably use car park in Country Park next time (£2 all day) as it took me a while to get out.
Watford lost 2-1, played better than WBA but lacking end product.
