Mud Bridge 4 / Main Cycle Path - Miltenberg 🚴‍♂️The Mud Bridge, located parallel to Mainzer Straße on the Main Cycle Path, connects the communities of Miltenberg and Kleinheubach.The 1.2-kilometer-long pedestrian and cycle path, a further section of the cycle path network, opened with the crossing in 2022. It leads from the "Schwertfeger Tor" parking lot to the Old Town Fortress over the Mud River.The new crossing consists of two bridge sections with a total length of 47.5 meters and a weight of 60 tons. The foundation was constructed using bored piles driven up to 14 meters into the rock. As a modern cycle and pedestrian bridge, the crossing over the Mud River tributary is excellent for both directions and very easy to pass...🚴‍♂️
