The transmission mast is a holdover from medium wave radio. The SWR withdrew from the medium wave supply at the beginning of 2012. With its height of 273 m, the mast stands useless but imposing above Mühlacker.

The transmission mast is a remnant of medium wave radio. At the beginning of 2012, the SWR withdrew from the medium wave supply. Now the mast stands useless at a height of 273 m, but as an imposing landmark above Mühlacker.
The functionless 130 meter high tubular steel mast, which last served as a reserve antenna for medium wave, was demolished on November 5, 2013. To do this, the tethers in one direction were separated so that the remaining tethers pulled the mast in the desired direction and brought it down.
