A wine educational trail leads as a high-altitude trail above the slopes of the royal Pillnitz vineyard as part of the Leitenweg.
The sentinel's cottages at the vineyard were accommodations for the vineyard watchmen. Two of the former four guard houses from the 18th century are still preserved.
