The swimmer by artist Waldemar Grzimek sits in the garden in front of Montfort Castle as if he had just emerged from Lake Constance. The muscles of the resting youth stand out impressively, carved out of the bronze. The figure “Couching Swimmer” is a permanent loan from the artist to the community, to which the sculptor was closely connected through his father, Günther Grzimek.
