In the Saint Michel district you will find the "Marché des Capucins", a large market hall with a wide range of all kinds of delicacies, for everyday life or simply to linger and enjoy the moment. Sunday is the main market day and in addition to all sorts of seafood, such as oysters from Cap Feret, you will find a huge selection of pinchos (Basque tappas), wines from the region or other well-known French wine regions.

A visit to the Marché des Capucins is a must. Here you will find everything from fresh vegetables and herbs (including very exotic ones that I had never found in Berlin, such as paracress or hussar's head). Fresh fish, oysters and mussels, meat and poultry, flowers and household goods. The market building is not beautiful, but it is very, very popular because you can also eat there.
The market is also open on Sundays.
