Reinhold STECHER was honored by the Austrian Alpine Club in 2021 with a special event for his 100th birthday. The long-time Bishop of Innsbruck, who was also active as a writer and painter, saw nature as God's creation – entrusted to us humans for preservation. The section of the path marked as a highlight in the komoot system here, in the far west of Europe, is well suited in my opinion to recall one of the popular pastor's quotes:
"In wonder, we inspire the step of the spirit."
