Great detour to the actual most northerly point of Britain's mainland (beating John O Groats by 11 miles!). Once you reach the car park of Dunnet Head, go leftwards to see the lighthouse and cliff but don't miss the right hand path that goes up to a 360 degrees viewpoint of the whole area
