Started off in the rain but that eased off, only for it to come down heavier nearing Musselburgh. Decent tail wind along the Vogrie Road. Once we left Musselburgh the aim was to reach Calton Hill to explore and see the views. We followed our noses between Musselburgh and there, which made the cycle more interesting.

My cousin and I decided to cycle from Berwick upon Tweed to Holy Island and back. Using Komoot as a guide there and back, we followed an existing, but obvious choice route. We both had gravels bikes which came in real handy on some sections of the paths. A touring bike would have been ok too. Epic rainfall for a bit when on Holy Island and then another passing rain shower as we left but that stopped once across the causeway - made for more fun! Some paths were slightly overgrowing but easily passable.
