Oberragen is one of Bruneck's oldest core. Coming from the Stadtgasse through the Ragentor you reach Oberragen. In the middle of the street, Oberragen widens like a square in front of the Sternberg Palace. Up to there, the street, like the Stadtgasse, is a connected pedestrian zone. From the Sternberg Palace, Oberragen continues to Pfarrplatz and Mühlgasse. Numerous buildings on the street are listed buildings.
