As part of its efforts as a green city, Karlsruhe has been committed to improving the quality of life, well-being and wellbeing of its citizens. The Günther-Klotz-Anlage as a recreational area is a successful example of this endeavor.

Very nice local recreation area on the southern outskirts of Karlsruhe. Playgrounds, model boat lake, rowing boat rentals, large lawns and Mount Klotz, from which, with good visibility, you can see the Palatinate Forest and the Black Forest. At the western end of the Günther-Klotz-Anlage is the "Cool Krug" with a beer garden and home-brewed beer.
